I'm a Seaman!

I'm a dog of many interests and one of my favorite past times is sailing. I'm a bonafide wiener seaman! My Human's seem to like sailing too and if the weather is nice I will make them take me with them.  We have our beautiful Hunter H26 that we love to spend as much time on as we can doing overnight trips.  Sometimes we take out the O'day Daysailor 17 but ever since I slipped off the edge of it i'm not allowed on the deck of any of the boats without my protection on.  We were under full sail when I slipped in and Amber had to dive in and rescue me while Kasey turned the boat around and pulled us back on board.  It was a little scary and I guess that every wiener needs protection when participating in vigorous activity.

I'm not sure why they insist on putting me in these ridiculous outfits.  I'm a dog! I need to be free and mobile!  You can see this physique. I'm an athlete!  The worst part is the clothes are usually hand-me-down outfits from Gypsy, Nana's past female dog!  The only solace in the parade of shame I endure is the generous cut on the lower portion of the garments.  At least part of me is free to feel the wind on its.... well you get the point.
